A Mexican Petunia and Friend
A butterfly finds a way.
This little fellow was trying to find lunch by moving flower to flower throughout our garden. He particularly likes the Mexican Petunias that are in full bloom right now. It took several minutes of following it around before I was able to capture this picture.
It was a breezy afternoon, so the petunias were swaying wildly. I watched as the butterfly held on tightly to the flowers and went for a ride with the wind. Every time the wind settled enough the butterfly took to the air again and moved to the next flower.
Like this butterfly we have to go about our day and get things done regardless of the conditions around us. How are you handling the ups and downs in your daily routine? Are you being blown back and forth, or are you swaying in the breeze?
